The United Croats of Canada King Tomislav Branch (Croatian Cultural Centre) is offering scholarships and bursaries for BC residents of Croatian ancestry (at least one parent must be of Croatian ancestry).The scholarships are in the amounts of $500 and $1000 for full time attendance either at a university, college, or a technical/vocational institute. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit. Applicants must provide two letters of reference, and a short essay on a topic chosen by the scholarship committee.

Completed application forms must be received by May 1, 2010, to be considered for the fall term or semester. Application forms can be obtained from my office, at the Croatian Cultural Centre (3250 Commercial Drive), or the Centre's website (click here).
